eHealth Interoperability in Sweden (Paperback)

,
eHealth interoperability is one of the important aspects among the implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools. The increase in usage of the ICT's at different levels globally creates a need for interoperability. Following is a concern over the selection of interoperability standards. In this study we investigate what are the eHealth standards used in Europe and Sweden. We identify the current practices in the County of Blekinge with regard to interoperability, propose standards for the Field Documentation Mobile Computer (FDMC) and propose a conceptual architecture of FDMC. Our study helps in understanding the current practices in the County of Blekinge. We try to fit our study to a context of the FDMC usage, so we propose a conceptual architecture of the FDMC. The fact is that many different health standards are used worldwide, but the Swedish architecture board has decided to use EN13606.
