The Apostle Paul talked of "The Offense of the Gospel of Christ - the Finished Work." This book expounds on what changed Paul's life when he was told of the Gospel of Christ and dives in deep in regard to Law vs. Grace and the redeeming work of Christ on the cross. Pride in man would try and keep him from thinking that the work was complete and that he needed to "do" something to earn or keep his newly found redemption, making it an offense to see that it is already a done deal. Christ paid the supreme price.
