Dark Night of the Navajo is a tale of murder, kidnapping, shapeshifters and dark magic. Cate O'Connor witnesses a murder in a sweat lodge and can identify the killer. She is kidnapped and endures a harrowing ride across the desert of the Navajo Nation, but the killer's motives for kidnapping her are unknown, since he doesn't intend to kill her.
