Carl Nielsen's Voice is the first study to present an in-depth analysis of the work of the Danish composer and conductor Carl Nielsen (1865-1931), which comprises nearly 300 songs.The volume offers a comprehensive account of Carl Nielsen as a composer viewed from the point of view of a musicologist with an international background and with considerable insight into Danish language and culture.
