the book speaks about the common risk factors of stroke in Hebron city, based on a case control study, that has investigated retrospectively the files of Alahli hospital, looking for the prevalence of risk factors among patients who had been admitted to the hospital during the whole year (01.01 - 31.12), controls were taken to check the risk prevalence at the community, odd rations and risk values were calculated, to evaluate the effect of the prevalence of risk factors on occurrence of stroke, so that it could enable a future preventive plan, risk factors were listed upon their prevalence and their associated odd ration, and level of significance, to be a baseline for future preventive plan, that aims t decrease the incidence n Palestine, taking into consideration its unique social economic status
