Gov. Thomas Welles came to New England in 1635, settling in Hartford in 1636 and moving to Wethersfield in 1646. Volume 3, Part C, for the first time publishes the sixth-generation descendants of Gov. Welles through his daughter Sarah2 (Welles) Chester.
