If this book does not move you, you may not have a pulse! A wonderful book of beauty coming out of tragedy, of hope springing up out of despair, and how kindness and love can change the world. Don't worry if the story starts off a little slowly - the author soon settles into a rythym which carries you along with it. Lovely word pictures transport you into the scenery and life of the story in a way that makes you think you've been ther before! The story is based on true events and people, which adds a touch of authenticity to the narrative. I think this book would inspire anyone who is battling along in life trying to make sense of things, those dealing with loss or tragedy, or even just those who are lonely or depressed. Highly recommended!
